Our Search Engine Optimization services involve a preliminary audit of the existing site. The initial set up will involve:

  • Updating Meta tags (Title & description)
  • Confirm that Google Analytics and Webmaster tools are set up and reporting properly offering to give access to the client through a Google associated email address. Take a look for any errors resulting and diffuse
  • Confirm that sitemap.xml and robots.txt is set up and reporting properly
  • Confirm that all the images have a “alt” and are named with keywords in the title
  • Check for keyword rich heading tags
  • Check for keyword rich “Title” tag
  • Find the websites index “page-rank”
  • Submission of website to DMOZ, Google, Bing and Yahoo
  • Developing a list of up to 30 logical “key phrases” with less than 5M results based on the existing content, offering for the client to submit particular searches they would like rank in the “top-ten” and determine if these searches are feasible
  • Google+ business profile setup/optimization
  • Link redirect audit
  • Custom 404 error page setup
  • Canonicalization analysis
  • RSS link audit
  • Existing Social Media page audit (Facebook, Twitter, etc.)

Followed up by progressive bi-weekly optimization. The milestones every second week will involve:

  • Their current status in searches
  • The changes that were made “behind the scenes”
  • Audit of unrelated websites that reference their company that are appearing in the “top ten” search results as well, trouble shoot as needed
